Beschluss von Rat und Volk; die Aka-mantisV hatte die Prytanie inne; Phelleus war Sekretär;Antigenes war Archon; Sibyrtios war Vorsteher;Alkibiades stellte den Antrag: dass für den Bau der Schif-fe als Darlehen aufnehmen die Strategen unter Pe-rikles Geld von den amtierendenApodekten für die Schiffsbaumeister. Was sie als Darlehenaufgenommen haben, soll ihnen wieder zurückzahlen die Tri-erenbau-Komission. Die auszufahren beauftragt sind, sollenzwecks Bemannung der Schiffe so rasch wie möglich ent-senden die Strategen; falls nicht, sollen sie verklagtwerden wegen Verrats vor dem Gerichtshof. DieStrategen aber sollen bei dem, der nicht wollens ist auszu-fahren, das Verfahren einleiten. Dass für den Transport der Schiffe,die die Schiffsbaumeister aus Makedonienschicken, der Rat Sorge trage, dasssie auf das Schnellste nach Athen geschickt und be-mannt werden und (auf ihnen) nach Ionien gebracht wird dasHeer, um den bestmöglichen Schutz wahrzunehmen.Wenn einer nicht denentsprechend handelt, dass er als Buße zah-le zehntausend Drachmen, zu weihen der Athe-na; dass dem ersten, der eingetrifft und über-führt das Schiff, man eine Prämie gebe, so wie es be-schließt das Volk. ‒ Da Archelas sowohljetzt als auch in der Zeit davor ein Mann warmit Verdiensten um die Athener, und diejenigen Athener,die ausgelaufen waren, aufgenommen und in dasLager bei Pydna geschickt hat undGutes getan hat für das Lager der Athenerund gegeben hat Holz und Ruder undanderes Vergünstigungen, um die sie ihn baten, dassman Lob sage Archelas als einem Mann mit Verdienstenund willig, nach Kräften Gutes zutun; und für das, was er an Wohltaten erwiesen hat der Stadtund dem Volk der Athener, aufzeichneihn und die Kinder als proxenoi und Wohltä-ter auf der (Akro)polis auf einer steinernen Stele und Sor-ge tragen für ihn - - -
